MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
Core3 have been retained to recruit a rare Management Accountant opportunity offering a 4-day working week, 100% remote working, and an unlimited holiday allowance. You will be working for a growing scale up in Bristol that really values their people. £43,000-£48,000 plus amazing benefits.

How you’ll make an impact
In this unique Management Accountant role you’ll be reporting to the Head of Operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the business leaders with the accounting activities for their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring that each client is receiving the best standard of service possible
Preparation of monthly management accounts and other ad-hoc client requests
Preparation of weekly flash reporting / daily sales reporting where required
Adding value to the client, interrogating their accounts, and highlighting any opportunities or risks
Maintaining prepayment and accrual schedules
Reconciliation of bank and balance sheet accounts
Preparation and submission of VAT returns
Liaising with auditors and statutory accountants for year-end accounts and tax
Communicating with team on cover needed when annual leave is taken or you are off sick
Potential to step up into a Finance Manager role

Proven track record in a Management Accountant or Finance Manager role
A high level of IT literacy, with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
A confident communicator with both clients and colleagues
Strong customer service focus with the ability to maintain client relationships
Ability to problem solve, highlight issues, and find solutions
A self-starter that can work autonomously
Good attention to detail, organisation and planning skills
A collaborative team player
ACCA/CIMA qualified or qualified by experience
