How you’ll make an impact

In this unique Finance Analyst opportunity, you will report to the CEO and work as part of a collaborative team. The successful candidate will add value to Accurise and their clients bycreating meaningful financial reports, building financial models, standardizing accounting packs, creating dashboards, and making improvements to financial reports. 

• Develop and maintain financial models to provide insights into business performance and financial trends.

• Create dashboards and financial reports that are easy to understand for non-finance stakeholders.

• Extract data from an Azure data warehouse, manipulate it in Excel using Macros, and create meaningful outputs with data visualization tools such as Power BI.

• Standardize accounting packs and improve financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information.

• Provide ad-hoc analysis to support business decision-making.

• Work closely with clients to understand their financial requirements, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.

• Monitor key performance indicators and ensure timely reporting of performance metrics.

• Identify trends and anomalies in financial data, providing insights to support decision-making.

• Support the wider finance team in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.

• At least 3 years of experience in analytical roles

• A good grounding in finance to know what good looks like when it comes to financial reporting

• A proficient financial modeller with advanced Excel skills up to Macro level 

• Experience of building dashboards using data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Experience in data warehousing and SQL is desirable, but not essential.
